About Us and Our Vision

I am originally from upstate Rochester, NY and had never really imagined living anywhere else, but God had other plans for our family. We have enjoyed making North Carolina our home for over 14 years. My career has always been built around construction. Being raised in upstate New York I witnessed most people staying in their homes their entire lives, and instead of outgrowing their homes, they built a home they could grow into and build on. When I was a child I would help my grandfather build on additions to our personal home. I graduated from Greece Olympia High school and immediately went into framing residential homes. I framed homes from 1999-2005 in Rochester NY. In 2005 my family and I, we moved down south to Willow Spring, NC where I began building residential homes and townhomes from 2005-2010 in the Raleigh-Cary area. After the housing market crash that occurred in 2008 I went into residential and commercial restoration from 2010-2018. Creating relationships through building is a passion of mine and why I do what I do.

It is where the passion I discovered building with my grandfather, and the promise for the future with my family, flourished into what you see today with our pictures on this website. The ability to use my craftmanship to build homes that families do not want to “upgrade” out of with the next pay raise, but to add to.

At BQuest Homes we strive to create and build a client’s home unique to their own story that can be built on for years to come. BQuest opened in 2018 and received it’s name from the actual word bequest- meaning, “A Legacy”. Our vision when building a BQuest home is to not only build a quality home, but to build a legacy.

I am originally from upstate Rochester, New York. I graduated in 2000 with a cosmetology license and have loved creating with hair and continue to do so. I met my husband Nate when I was 16 and we now have 4 children. We enjoy traveling as a family, and love being on any type of body of water.

It has always been a passion of mine to design and create. Nate has been making my visions and dreams come to life for more than 15 years. Through our company BQuest, it is our priority to meet with clients and listen to their desires for their home. Together we can design the home they have always dreamed of.

Hi, My name is Daniel Lee, I was born and raised in North Carolina and I currently live in Clayton. I have a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University. I started building in 2017 and I came on with BQuest in June of 2022. I wanted to work with Nate because I know that he has integrity and understands the value of going the extra mile to build a quality product. We have a great group of contractors we work with that know what it takes to do the job right.

I really enjoy the homeowners we’ve gotten to work with so far and the relationships we’ve developed with them. It’s a really rewarding position to be in when you can give someone the keys to a home they’re proud to call their own.

I have been married to my wife, Riley, for 4 years and we have a 3 year old Great Dane named Amos. I enjoy woodworking, working on my truck and being outdoors enjoying God’s creation.
